Low and Slow

Liam has this Shake n’ Go car that is the Ramone character from the Disney/pixar Cars movie. AND that sentence had too many buzzwords to bother linking to so google it, baby. ANYWAYS the car also talks and says Latino-stereotyping assumptive paraphrases such as “Aay! Show some respect, Homes!” and “Lowwww and slowwww.”

Quite frankly, Ramone knows just how I’m feeling. And when I say “low” I mean energy and when I say “slow” I mean not entirely motivated.

It has been a LONG FREAKING WINTER! Can I get a “Hell yeah”? And just when it looks like Spring is here…the sky is blue, the sun is shining, we step outside and HOLE-LEE CRAP IT’S COLD. Like 40 degrees cold.

But you know, the global warming-thermal shifting thing is just a conspiracy.

I think that the writer’s strike made us all a bit more winter-cranky than we usually are. Add in rising gas prices, lower home sales, and general economy having it’s own low and slow down… well you shake it all up and it’s tasting like castor oil served from a dirty ashtray.

That said, Liam and Shea couldn’t give a rat’s ass about the economy. Ask Liam and he’ll tell you that Daddy works to make money to buy more Buzz toys. Cause apparently that is the currency of a 3 year old boy.

I think it’ll pick up around here when the sun shines AND starts warming the earth a bit. As it is Liam is checking outside every day to see if the snow is gone and if it’s “Almost time to ride my Gator!”

Giddy up, Spring! We want to play!!
